Kate Wilson, founded Central West Women's Imaging to ensure that women in regional NSW have equitable access to specialised Women’s Ultrasound services that are equivalent to those in the city. She grew up on her family's farm in Canowindra. Kate travelled across Australia with work before moving to London, then returning to Sydney and later Orange.

Kate is a passionate women's health sonographer with 17 years of sonography experience, 11 of which have been dedicated to Women's Health imaging. This includes working in the Fetal Medicine Unit at St George's University Trust, NHS London, and as Lead Sonographer of the Fetal Medicine Unit at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Sydney, as well as specialised deep endometriosis ultrasound training with OMNI.

Kate introduced pre-eclampsia screening as part of the Nuchal Translucency ultrasound to Orange, upskilling sonographers across the district in both public and private practice. She has presented at many national sonographers' conferences on topics in obstetric ultrasound, with a particular focus on pre-eclampsia screening.

Kate is extremely passionate about endometriosis and the woman's endometriosis and pelvic pain journey. She has tertiary-level training in endometriosis ultrasound (deep endo US) and is regularly upskilling in new techniques and ongoing continuing professional development (CPD) and research involvement.

After years of working in Sydney and the United Kingdom, I have come back to Orange to create CWWI to ensure that women in regional NSW have equitable access to specialised women’s ultrasound services that are equivalent to those in the city.
